Horizon Air, a unit of Alaska Air Group Inc., said it will offer daily nonstop service between Los Angeles and Mammoth Lakes during the winter skiing season.
Service is scheduled to begin Dec. 18 and continue through April 12, 2009.
Officials at Mammoth Mountain Resort said the flights will boost the community's spring and winter tourism efforts by providing a direct link to the Southern California market.
