Constellation Energy Group Inc. said Friday its board has declared a quarterly dividend of 47.75 cents payable on Oct. 1 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 10.

Shares rose $4.21, or 5.4 percent, to $81.89 in afternoon trading.
