Washington Post agrees to acquire Miami TV station

Newspaper and magazine publisher The Washington Post Co. said Friday that it agreed with NBC Universal to acquire WTVJ, a TV station in Miami.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Post-Newsweek Stations Inc., a Washington Post subsidiary, will continue to operate the station as an NBC affiliate. The purchase is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
The acquisition is subject to approval by the Federal Communications Commission.
Shares of Washington Post fell $7.50 to $599.50 in morning trading.
