Men's and women's clothing and accessories company Volcom Inc. on Monday said it is buying Laguna Surf & Sport for undisclosed terms.
Laguna Surf & Sport operates two stores in California that continue to operate under the same name following the acquisition.
"Laguna Surf & Sport has been a landmark on the southern California surf and skate scene for many years and this acquisition further demonstrates our dedication to core retail and its importance to Volcom," said Volcom Chairman and Chief Executive Richard Woolcott in a statement.
Shares of Volcom rose 67 cents, or 2.7 percent, to $25.90 in morning trading.
