Canadian media company Corus Entertainment Inc. said Tuesday that its president and chief executive, John Cassaday, will operate Corus Radio on an interim basis, after its current president, John Hayes, steps down on Aug. 31.
Hayes' departure was announced earlier this month.
Starting August 5, Scott Dyer will assume the role of chief technology officer. He will be responsible for hardware, software, personnel and technical resources for Corus' core and new media businesses. He will also oversee the technological aspects of the company's move to its new corporate headquarters and broadcast facility next year.
