Among the earnings projection stories for Tuesday, July 22, from AP Financial News:

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (AP) _ Telecommunications equipment manufacturer Tellabs Inc. said Tuesday that third-quarter revenue will likely be "flat to slightly down" compared with the previous period because of seasonal fluctuations.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) _ Oil and natural gas producer XTO Energy Inc. said Tuesday it expects production volume to grow by 29 percent in 2008 and 22 percent in 2009 after recent acquisitions.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Irish drug development and research company Icon PLC on Tuesday raised its 2008 profit and revenue expectations for the second time in three months, and its stock reached an all-time high.
