B/E Aerospace gets seating contract worth $140M

B/E Aerospace Inc., which makes aircraft cabin interior products, said Wednesday that it was chosen by a "major global airline" to supply premium class seating for its new-buy wide-body aircraft.
The award is initially worth more than $140 million. B/E did not reveal the name of the airline.
More than 1,100 deliveries of the new wide-body aircraft are expected from 2008 through 2011, B/E Aerospace said.
B/E Aerospace shares rose 22 cents to $27.15 in afternoon trading.
