Corrections Corp. CEO adds chairman title

Prison operator Corrections Corp. of America on Thursday said its Chief Executive John Ferguson will add the chairman of the board title.
Ferguson, 63, replaces William Andrews, 76, who becomes chairman of the board's executive committee.
Also, the Nashville-based company named Damon Hininger, 38, president and chief operating officer. He had been senior vice president, federal and local customer relations. He takes the president title from Ferguson and the COO position is new.
In addition, Tony Grande, 38, has been named executive vice president and chief development officer. He had been senior vice president, state customer relations. The chief development officer position has been vacant since last fall, when Ken Bouldin retired.
Corrections Corp. shares fell 4 cents to $27.80 in morning trading.
