LONDON (AP) _ Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca PLC posted a 13 percent rise in second-quarter profit on Thursday, and increased its full-year earnings per share target as it continues to strengthen its drug pipeline.

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP)_ Health insurer Aetna says its second-quarter profit rose 6.4 percent on membership growth and a hike in premium rates.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Drug store and pharmacy operator CVS Caremark said Thursday its second-quarter profit grew 7 percent as sales at its retail drug stores rose.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Canadian soda maker Cott Corp. on Thursday reported a loss in its second quarter due to a big drop in North America volumes and income tax expenses.
