BURLINGTON, Mass. (AP) _ Communications equipment maker Acme Packet Inc. sharply lowered its 2008 profit and sales outlook Thursday.

WASHINGTON (AP) _ Supply chain management software developer i2 Technologies Inc. said Thursday that its third quarter results will be similar to its earnings in last year's third quarter.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) _ Biotechnology company Alkermes Inc. raised its full-year profit outlook, citing higher revenue from the schizophrenia drug Risperdal Consta and lower costs.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Teen apparel retailer Aeropostale Inc. raised its second-quarter earnings outlook on Thursday based on better-than-expected sales.

HOUSTON (AP) _ Orion Marine Group Inc., a marine construction and services contractor, said Thursday it expects to fall slightly short of its earlier expectations on a key financial measure this year because of a slowdown in marine dredging projects.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) _ Portland General Electric Co. on Thursday boosted its earnings outlook for 2008, pointing to solid operations and the sale of fuel inventory from one of its thermal plants.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Macquarie Infrastructure Co., which operates airport services and energy terminal businesses, on Thursday narrowed its operating earnings forecast for 2008.
