Amcol Int'l raises dividend 12.5 percent

Specialty minerals producer Amcol International Corp. said Friday its board has increased its cash dividend for the third quarter by 12.5 percent to 18 cents per share.

Amcol will pay the dividend Sept. 26 to shareholders of record Aug 29.

The company paid a dividend of 16 cents for the second quarter.

Amcol shares fell 12 cents to $34.60 in late-morning trading. They've traded between $23.51 and $42.70 in the past year.
