Shares of some top staffing companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Kelly Services rose $.12 or .6 percent, to $20.00.

Korn Ferry rose $.41 or 2.3 percent, to $18.17.

Manpower fell $1.48 or 2.9 percent, to $48.88.

Robert Half rose $.09 or .3 percent, to $25.96.
