Shares of some top biotechnology companies are mixed at noon:

Amgen rose $.10 or .2 percent, to $63.81.

Biogen Idec rose $.33 or .6 percent, to $51.42.

Celgene fell $1.11 or 1.6 percent, to $69.74.

Genentech rose $.06 or .1 percent, to $97.96.

Gilead Sciences fell $.91 or 1.7 percent, to $52.84.
