Stewart Information Services names new CFO

Real estate information and title insurance provider Stewart Information Services Corp. said Thursday J. Allen Berryman has been named executive vice president, chief financial officer and secretary-treasurer of the company.

Berryman replaces Max Crisp who is stepping down on Sept. 2. Crisp has worked for Stewart Information Services since 1965.

Crisp will remain a member of the board of directors until his term ends on May 9.

Before joining Stewart Information Services, Berryman served as head of finance for Cetero Research, a provider of early clinical trial and laboratory services for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and generic drug industry.
