USANA plans for Philippines operations by 2009

Nutritional supplement maker USANA Health Sciences Inc. said Thursday it plans to begin operations in the Philippines by early 2009.
Direct-selling revenue totals about $500 million per year in the Philippines, the company said, citing the Direct Selling Association of the Philippines.
USANA already has operations throughout Asia, Europe and North America.
Shares of USANA rose 82 cents, or 2.2 percent, to $37.66 in afternoon trading.
