International Rectifier Corp., down 42 cents at $20.90

The chip maker rejected a $1.6 billion buyout bid from Vishay Intertechnology and said it expects to miss its annual financial report filing deadline.

GameStop Corp., down 22 cents at $43.87

The video game retailer is splitting the chairman and CEO functions as part of a management reorganization as it plans an international expansion.

NuStar Energy L.P., up $2.26 at $49.36

The pipeline operator and asphalt refiner gave a better-than-expected outlook for third-quarter earnings because of strong asphalt margins.

Huntsman Corp., down 5 cents at $13.05

Hexion Specialty Chemicals wants to abandon a $6.5 billion buyout of the chemical maker and rejected an offer of partial financing from Huntsman shareholders.

NASDAQ

Dell Inc., down $3.48 at $21.73

Price cuts on computers due to competitive concerns eroded second-quarter margins and caused the PC maker to report a 17 percent fall in profit.

PetSmart Inc., up $2.58 at $27

Though the pet products retailer said quarterly earnings fell more than 20 percent, it beat analyst estimates and reiterated 2008 profit expectations.

Greenfield Online Inc., up 10 cents at $17.35

Microsoft Corp. is paying $486 million for the owner of Ciao, a collection of European price-comparison, shopping and consumer reviews sites.

Marvell Technology Group Ltd., down 65 cents at $14.11

While the chip maker beat estimates with adjusted quarterly profit, it gave a third-quarter revenue outlook below Wall Street projections.
