Aetna rose $.91 or 2.1 percent, to $44.08.

CIGNA rose $.38 or .9 percent, to $42.84.

Coventry Healthcare rose $.58 or 1.6 percent, to $35.92.

Humana rose $.84 or 1.8 percent, to $46.90.

UnitedHealth rose $.52 or 1.7 percent, to $30.58.

WellPoint rose $.90 or 1.7 percent, to $53.96.
