Chemtura fell $.06 or .9 percent, to $6.59.

Dow Chemical fell $.51 or 1.5 percent, to $34.13.

DuPont fell $.83 or 1.8 percent, to $44.44.

Rohm & Haas fell $.22 or .3 percent, to $75.05.
