Shares of some top specialty retail companies were mixed at the close of trading:

AutoZone fell $1.50 or 1.1 percent, to $137.23.

Gap fell $.03 or .2 percent, to $19.45.

Home Depot fell $.30 or 1.1 percent, to $27.12.

Lowes fell $.26 or 1.0 percent, to $24.64.

OfficeMax rose $.10 or .8 percent, to $12.24.

TJX Companies fell $.30 or .8 percent, to $36.24.
