Offshore oil service company Hornbeck Offshore Services Inc. said Wednesday that initial reports indicate its vessels were not damaged by Hurricane Gustav and continue to operate at pre-storm levels.
"The company remains in position to assist its Gulf of Mexico customers as they begin to assess storm damage and commence their recovery and repair efforts," Hornbeck said in a statement.
The company's Covington, La., headquarters were not damaged. But the state of Hornbeck's HOS Port facility in Port Fourchon, La., has not yet been ascertained, though preliminary reports indicate it sustained minor damage.
