Shares of some top commercial banks companies are down at noon:

First Horizon fell $.41 or 3.5 percent, to $11.33.

National City fell $.16 or 3.1 percent, to $4.92.

Wachovia fell $.32 or 1.9 percent, to $16.86.

Zions Bancorp fell $.42 or 1.4 percent, to $30.27.
