Semiconductor supplier Tessera Technologies Inc. said Thursday that its chief financial officer, Charles Webster, is resigning to pursue other interests.
The San Jose, Calif.-based company appointed John Keating, a senior vice president of corporate development, as its interim CFO until a permanent replacement can be found.
Webster had been overseeing Tessera's books for the past two years after leaving a finance job at KLA-Tencor Corp. Tessera paid Webster a $280,000 salary and a $154,100 bonus last year.
"Charlie played a key role as our CFO in developing our finance organization to meet the challenges of our growing global presence," said Tessera CEO Henry Nothhaft.
Tessera shares fell 91 cents, or 4 percent, to finish Thursday at $21.87.
