Truck maker Paccar promotes 2 executives

Commercial truck maker Paccar Inc. said Thursday its board has promoted two executives.

Dan Sobic, an 18-year company veteran who has been a senior vice president since 2007, was elected to the position of executive vice president.

The company also said its board elected Bob Christensen to the position of senior vice president. He joined the company in 1983 and has had senior management roles with Kenworth and Paccar Parts.

The promotions are effective Oct. 1.

Paccar designs and manufactures light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates.
