Shares of some top managed care companies are down at 10 a.m.:

Aetna fell $.30 or .7 percent, to $40.80.

CIGNA fell $.61 or 1.5 percent, to $39.06.

Coventry Healthcare fell $.64 or 1.9 percent, to $33.22.

Humana fell $.82 or 1.9 percent, to $42.72.

UnitedHealth fell $.55 or 2.0 percent, to $27.51.

WellPoint fell $1.42 or 2.8 percent, to $48.82.
