Shares of some top managed care companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Aetna rose $.32 or .8 percent, to $41.42.
CIGNA rose $.15 or .4 percent, to $39.82.
Coventry Healthcare fell $.46 or 1.4 percent, to $33.40.
Humana fell $.18 or .4 percent, to $43.36.
UnitedHealth fell $.35 or 1.2 percent, to $27.71.
WellPoint fell $1.22 or 2.4 percent, to $49.02.
