Stantec CFO Don Wilson to retire at end of year

Consulting company Stantec Inc. said Monday that Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Don Wilson will retire at the end of the year.

Wilson will be succeeded by Dan Lefaivre, vice president of finance and treasury, in January.

Wilson, who joined Stantec in 1990, will remain with the company as a consultant.

Shares of the company fell $1.56, or 5.9 percent, to $24.79 in morning trading. The stock has ranged between $21.78 and $40.30 over the past 52 weeks, and is off 32.5 percent since the start of the year.
