Aircraft services company AAR Corp. said on Tuesday that United Airlines has chosen it to try to sell or lease the Boeing 737s it is retiring.
AAR said it would focus on finding customers among operators outside the U.S.
UAL Corp.'s United and other carriers have been shrinking their fleets to adapt to high fuel prices. United said earlier this week that fuel prices remain 50 percent above last year, although they have declined as oil prices have fallen since the summer.
