Among the earnings projection stories for Tuesday, Sept. 16, from AP Financial News:

PERRYSBURG, Ohio (AP) _ Glass container maker Owens-Illinois Inc. on Tuesday reduced its estimate for free cash flow for the year because of soft demand.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ Best Buy Co. on Tuesday confirmed its outlook for per-share profit in fiscal 2009 between $3.25 and $3.40.

SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) _ Ingram Micro Inc., a technology products distributor, on Tuesday lowered its third-quarter guidance due to weaker-than-expected results for early September.

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ American Commercial Lines Inc. on Tuesday predicted third-quarter earnings well above Wall Street estimates, and said it believes it will have insurance coverage and other ways to pay the cost of a July 23 oil spill.

LEBANON, Tenn. (AP) _ CBRL Group Inc., which operates Cracker Barrel restaurants and gift shops, on Tuesday guided for fiscal 2009 earnings within range of analyst expectations.
