ProAssurance chairman resigns

ProAssurance Corp., a writer of medical professional liability insurance, said Monday night its chairman of the board, A. Derrill Crowe, has resigned for personal reasons.

A replacement has yet to be named.

Crowe, who will soon turn 72, will continue to serve as a consultant to the company as part of his employment agreement.
