Liberty prices 4.8M share offer at $33 per share

Liberty Property Trust said Thursday it will offer nearly 4.8 million shares at $33 per share.

The price is a nearly 2 percent discount to the company's closing price on Thursday of $33.53.

Underwriters have an option to buy an additional 712,500 shares over the next 30 days.

The company expects proceeds before offering expenses will be about $149.7 million, or $172.2 million if underwriters exercise their options in full.

The offering is expected to close on Thursday. Proceeds will be used to pay part of the company's outstanding debt and for general corporate purposes.
