Boots & Coots signs $45M risk-management contract

Boots & Coots International Well Control Inc. said Thursday that it signed a three year, $45 million contract to expand risk management and prevention services in North Africa.

The contract will help the Houston-based oilfield services company expand its product offerings to the region, executives said.

The company reported revenue of $105.3 million last year.

Its shares fell five cents to $1.28 in late afternoon trading.
