Apple Inc rose $4.20 or 4.6 percent, to $95.00.
Dell Inc rose $.63 or 6.0 percent, to $11.05.
Hewlett Packard rose $1.61 or 4.8 percent, to $35.21.
IBM rose $1.02 or 1.3 percent, to $81.67.
Lexmark rose $.74 or 2.9 percent, to $26.19.
