WALLINGFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Amphenol Corp., an electronic and fiber optic cable producer, on Thursday cut its fourth-quarter guidance below Wall Street expectations citing an increased slowdown in global demand over the past month.
SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (AP) _ Gerber Scientific Inc., which manufactures equipment used in making signs, specialty graphics, apparel and optical lenses, cut its fiscal 2009 forecasts Thursday because the economic slump is leading to delayed orders and decreased demand.
PLEASANTON, Calif. (AP) _ Safeway Inc. told investors Thursday that it expects to earn between $2.34 and $2.44 per share in 2009, in line with analyst expectations.
