Omega Flex sets date for special dividend

Omega Flex Inc. said Thursday the record date for its special dividend has been moved to Dec. 16 from Dec. 9.

The one-time special dividend _ which was announced late Wednesday _ amounts to 50 cents per share and will be paid Dec. 23. Omega Flex makes equipment for steel production and other industries.

Shares of the company lost $3.19,or 13.3 percent, to $20.85 in afternoon trading.
