Jarden reiterates 2009 revenue guidance

Jarden Corp., an appliance and consumer products company, on Tuesday reaffirmed its 2009 revenue guidance.

It continues to expect revenue of $5 billion.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters, on average, predict revenue of $5.02 billion.

The company reiterated guidance in a statement accompanying a meeting with analysts and investors held in New York at the New York Stock Exchange.

Shares rose 40 cents, or 4.6 percent, to $9.23 during aftermarket trading, after finishing the trading day down 68 cents, or 7.2 percent at $8.83.
