Cintas names James Johnson as a board member

Cintas Corp. said Wednesday that it named James J. Johnson as a director, boosting its board's size to 10 members.

Johnson retired as chief legal officer of Procter & Gamble Co. in June 2008. With his appointment, Cintas' board now has seven independent directors.

The company supplies entrance mats, restroom items and promotional products to businesses. It also provides fire protection and document management services.

Cintas' stock added 30 cents to $24.84 in afternoon trading.
