Jakks Pacific Inc., maker of Hannah Montana and Girl Gourmet toys, said Wednesday that a federal appeals court agreed to dismiss a lawsuit filed by World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. that accused the toy maker of bribery and other actions.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit agreed with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, which had earlier dismissed the lawsuit.

The lawsuit by the wrestling promoter was looking to void toy and video game licenses.

Jakks shares were up 6 cents at $13.01 in afternoon trading.
