The contract includes one base year and one option year, and would be worth $170 million if all options are exercised.

DynCorp said it will provide field level and limited depot level maintenance, aircraft modifications, and support for aviation reset operations for Army helicopters. Most of the work will be in Germany beginning in July.

DynCorp shares rose 29 cents, or 2.1 percent, to close at $14.15 before the announcement. They rose another 39 cents, or 2.8 percent, to $14.54 in late trading.
