Forest Oil prices stock offering at $18.25

Forest Oil Corp. said on Wednesday that it has priced its planned offering of 12.5 million shares at $18.25 per share.

That price falls a little below where the shares were trading on Tuesday _ at $18.50, down 90 cents, or 4.6 percent.

The natural gas company said it expects to issue the shares on or around May 26.

The company said it plans to use the proceeds from the offering to repay some of its debt under bank credit facilities.
