Applied Materials sets 6-cent quarterly dividend

Applied Materials Inc. on Tuesday declared a regular quarterly dividend of 6 cents.

The chip manufacturing equipment maker said the dividend is payable on Sept. 3 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 13.
