The H.J. Heinz Co. said it will switch the responsibilities of its two executives in charge of its North American and European businesses.
Heinz said the changes are part of its development process to broaden the capabilities of its leadership team.
Dave Moran, 51, becomes executive vice president, president and chief executive of Heinz Europe. He had held the same titles at Heinz North America.
Meanwhile, Scott O'Hara, 48, becomes executive vice president, president and CEO of Heinz North America, after leading Heinz Europe.
The changes are effective July 15.
Shares rose 39 cents to $36.34 during midday trading.
