Clean Energy Fuels to offer 6M common shares

Clean Energy Fuels Corp., a natural gas provider, said Monday it will sell six million shares of common stock in a public offering.
The price has not yet been determined.
Underwriters can buy an additional discounted 900,000 shares within 30 days from the day of the final prospectus for the offer. Merrill Lynch & Co. is the sole bookrunning manager. Lazard Capital Markets, Janney Montgomery Scott and Craig-Hallum Capital Group are co-managers.
The company will use the proceeds for general expenses, capital expenditures related to station construction, investment in biomethane plants, future acquisitions and other uses.
Clean Energy shares fell 57 cents, or 6.4 percent, to $8.29 Monday morning.
