Honeywell gets Corps of Engineers contract

Honeywell International Inc. said Friday the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers gave it a contract to upgrade federal buildings with temperature-ontrol technology.

The value of the contract was not disclosed.

Honeywell was one of eight companies to receive a contract from the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Ala., for this new program, which could collectively involve as much as $650 million in projects over the next three years, the company said.

In morning trading, Morris Township, N.J.-based Honeywell shares rose 4 cents to $31.89.
