Siemens names new US operations leader

Industrial conglomerate Siemens AG said Monday Michael Reitermann will lead the company's U.S. organization.

Reitermann, who will become CEO of Siemens Healthcare in the U.S., replaces Heinrich Kolem, who will now lead the company's global angiography, fluoroscopy and X-ray business.

Siemens, which is based in Germany, has its U.S. headquarters in Malvern, Pa.

American Depository Shares of Siemens rose $1.92, or 2.8 percent, to $70.67 in afternoon trading. The stock has traded between $43.89 and $123.81 over the last 52 weeks.
