Shares of some top aerospace companies were down at the close of trading:
Boeing fell $.15 or .4 percent, to $42.50.
Goodrich fell $1.00 or 2.0 percent, to $49.97.
Northrop Gruman fell $.96 or 2.1 percent, to $45.68.
Raytheon fell $.97 or 2.1 percent, to $44.43.
