Shares of some top internet companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Akamai Technologies fell $.49 or 2.5 percent, to $19.18.
Amazon rose $.63 or .8 percent, to $83.66.
eBay fell $.23 or 1.3 percent, to $17.13.
Google fell $2.55 or .6 percent, to $421.59.
Yahoo fell $.24 or 1.5 percent, to $15.66.
