Akamai Technologies fell $.58 or 2.9 percent, to $19.09.
Amazon rose $.56 or .7 percent, to $83.59.
eBay fell $.47 or 2.7 percent, to $16.89.
Google fell $3.19 or .8 percent, to $420.95.
Yahoo fell $.50 or 3.1 percent, to $15.40.
