Shares of some top airlines companies are mixed at 10 a.m.:

AMR rose $.07 or 1.7 percent, to $4.09.

AirTran rose $.07 or 1.1 percent, to $6.26.

Continental rose $.31 or 3.5 percent, to $9.17.

DeltaAir rose $.13 or 2.2 percent, to $5.92.

JetBlue rose $.08 or 1.9 percent, to $4.35.

Southwest rose $.10 or 1.5 percent, to $6.83.

UAL rose $.08 or 2.5 percent, to $3.27.

US Airways fell $.04 or 1.6 percent, to $2.39.
