Apple Inc rose $1.54 or 1.1 percent, to $143.97.
Dell Inc fell $.10 or .7 percent, to $13.63.
Hewlett Packard rose $.47 or 1.2 percent, to $39.12.
IBM rose $.74 or .7 percent, to $105.16.
Lexmark rose $.69 or 4.4 percent, to $16.54.
