Shares of some top computer companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Apple Inc rose $.40 or .3 percent, to $142.83.
Dell Inc fell $.34 or 2.5 percent, to $13.39.
Hewlett Packard rose $.03 or .1 percent, to $38.68.
IBM rose $.42 or .4 percent, to $104.84.
Lexmark rose $.79 or 5.0 percent, to $16.64.
